Dr Rami Sorial was trained in Sydney and completed Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1993. He undertook two further years of subspecialty training in hip and knee surgery including fellowships in Phoenix and Boston and further training in London before returning to a senior lecturer post at the Royal North Shore Hospital in 1996.

Vlad Predescu is one of the most appreciated orthopedic specialists in Romania, being, at present, the head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department within Ponderas Academic Hospital, part of the Regina Maria health network. He has published over 800 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 30 textbooks, and over 200 book chapters. He has received over 50 awards and honors from international scientific societies around the globe because of his surgical and research activities.
