Mr. Morganwas awarded a place on the highly regarded foot and ankle training fellowship in Leeds Teaching Hospitals in UK with the world renowned foot and ankle surgeon, Mr. Nick Harris. Following this, further fellowship training was undertaken in foot and ankle surgery focusing on sports injuries. He has extensive experience in complex foot and ankle reconstruction surgery, sports injuries, foot and ankle arthroscopic surgery, ankle replacement surgery, foot and ankle minimally invasive surgery, bunion and lesser toes surgery.

He currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle disorders at St. Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals in Liverpool, UK. He lectures at national and international conferences and has published extensively within his field. He is the author of over 50 original publications covering many aspects of orthopaedics especially foot and ankle surgery. He is a member of the British foot and ankle society (BOFAS), American Academy of orthopaedic surgeons (AAOS) and European foot and ankle society (EFAS)

He did shoulder Fellowship in George Pompidou in Paris, France.

His interest is shoulder surgery, specialised in:
Arthroscopic shoulder surgery for instability and rotator cuff damage.
Shoulder replacement for arthritis.
Peripheral nerve decompression at wrist and elbow as well as release of tennis elbow.

He introduced shoulder pathway in the Dept., for fast tracking and better efficiency.

He got the NHS consultant award of Clinical Excellence

Carlos Higuera-Rueda is currently a staff surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he divides his time between leadership, research and patient care.

He is the Chairman of the Levitetz Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Director of the Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Center.
